Sinopsi

Annai is looking for the eye he is missing. He goes deep into the sea, on top of the mountains, between the bushes and the trees and in the feathers of birds. But he still can’t find his other eye. However, the best solution appears when the impatience disappear, when life flows and we learn to accept that our differences make us special. Everyone in the world has something to offer. You have just to be ready to find what is it for you.

Jonathan Klassen and Daniel Rodrigues made this short film full of tenderness and hope mixing their talent. Klassen is a Canadian writer and children book illustrator, like “This in not my hat”. He was the first one to get the American awards Caldecoot and the UK Kate Greenaway for the same work, the illustration of a children’s book.

Daniel Rodriguez, for its part, in an indie animator. He studied design at University of Sao Paulo. Since then he was a designer that used to do animation but he ensures that after learn about the movement and its power to build meanings, he has become an animator that also loves design.
