Sinopsi

Satire and animation are put to the service of social and political protest to tell, through humour, Spanish economical crisis, the bursting of the real estate bubble and the operation of banking mixed with the culture of football.

Aleix Saló was born in Ripollet in 1983 and although he studied Architecture his career has derived to illustration and creation of graphic novels. In 2008, he won the third award of Premio de Tira Cómica Más Joven and started to publish regularly in “El Jueves” magazine. It was in that year when he published his first book, “Hijos de los 80: La generación Burbuja”. Three years later he released “Españistán” that became a best seller by surprise, was impulsed with the short film with the same title that he published in YouTube to promote the graphic novel. His success using the protest through humour in graphic novels and animation short films has been repeated also in “Ratzinguer Z” and “Simiocracia”.
